Clare Crawley has been a serious situation on both The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. The 32-year-old hairstylist, from Sacramento, California falls in love at record speeds which creates wonderful television but some issues for her suitors. With Zack, Clare got a secret message from a Mexican turtle as it laid eggs in front of her and him–Clare was certain her and Zack were soulmates, but she laid a lot of pressure on him which ultimately was her undoing and led to her rejection.

In an interview with tvguide Chris Harrison explained:
“I don’t even know how to explain Clare and her behavior. I guess she just got so frustrated she couldn’t take it and left. I felt bad for Zack who just didn’t know what to do. He was trying to let her know, “You seem nice, but do I want to marry you today? Probably not. Maybe we can date for a second before you put me on the spot and make me decide your future and mine.”
It’s funny; she and AshLee come across the same way. They’re very forthright and aggressive and, by the way, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but at the same time you better know your audience because more often than not that scares the hell out of a guy. If it was a guy like Cody who’s more gung-ho, then they are great; you’re off to the races.”
