Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are the most inspiring couple to emerge from FYIs new hit show Married at First Sight. The two got off to a very rough start. You can’t be too hard on them though because it’s not everyone who would marry someone sight unseen. The two took a serious gamble and it paid off. Because they fell deeply in love well after they took their first vows.

So Doug feels the only proper thing to do is to have a proper wedding where they can express their feelings to one another in a meaningful way.
So just two weeks ago, Jamie revealed on Instagram that Doug had surprised her by proposing.
‘Our relationship began in the most bizarre way,’ she wrote. ‘Two crazy souls willing to try something new for love. And how I feel RIGHT NOW is the exact reason I believe in trying everything once. I LOVE you .’
‘Who knew the experts would find the ONE guy who I could trust, love, and grow old with! Thank you for always being so patient and understanding. There’s no doubt you’re my perfect match! We’re getting MARRIED where we had our first kiss! St Thomas! [sic].’
Really! Who knew!? So Jamie posted some photos of the gorgeous engagement ring. I hope they will give us some details soon.
