Kaitlyn Bristowe recounts her 1st impressions of the contestants

Unlike on Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor, Kaitlyn Bristowe is now in the drivers seat on The Bachelorette because now the guys are fighting for her. She gave her 1st impression rose to 28-year-old heart-throb Shawn Booth, but he was not the only guy who made a big impression on her.

Kaitlyn Bristowe recounts her 1st impressions of the contestants in her People blog:

“Overall, I was just so impressed with the quality of these men. One definitely gave me that feeling I was looking for when it came to first impressions. So after a motorized cupcake, a strip tease, a car “pool” (hahaha, I’m still laughing) and some incredible dudes, it was time to head into the mansion. It was intimidating to walk into a room of that many handsome faces. It takes a lot for me to be speechless….”

“…The poor guys had to try and get to know two women in a matter of hours and decide who they might want to marry  … ”

The guy who took the “cake” for best intro was Nashville Dentist Chris Strandburg in the cupcake car:

“Chris S. … cute AND successful. Usually I avoid the dentist – not this one. Chris was so easy to talk to, you can tell he has a full heart and wants to find that person to spend life with …. “

–Not to mention he was easy on they eyes. The 28-year-old is no stranger to reality television by the way. Chris appeared on season 2 of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.

Kaitlyn goes on to say….”Going home was not an option (for Chris). Unless you’re Ryan M. … then you are definitely going home.” Ryan McDill, Nikki Ferrell’s ex boyfriend, wins the worst impression rose for getting totally drunk and making a slew of inappropriate remarks like:

“I’m all horned up right now, you don’t even know what’s going on”,“I apologize for nothing. I’m sorry for being awesome.”

And my personal favorite…. “Is this the gay Bachelor?”

In regards to Kaitlyn ‘breaking the rules’ and running in to the mansion to talk to her new suitors during limo introductions she says:

“The guys were more nervous than we were, which took the pressure off! And just to go back to my strategy for a second … when I ran inside to say hi to the guys, I wasn’t trying to be unfair or discourteous. That was never a game plan or strategy. It was meant to be a sweet gesture. We were waiting for another limo, and it was a few minutes late.”

The bold “gesture” prompted Britt Nilsson to accuse Kaitlyn of “cheating”.
