We know Caroline Stanbury as the cheeky, brash business-woman and socialite on Bravo’s Ladies of London, but in her younger years the 39-year-old was one of London’s most sought after girls by A-list actors and Royalty alike.
At the age of 18 she briefly dated 48-year-old Rambo-star Sylvester Stallone when he was in London for an extended stay in 1994.
She dated Prince Andrew when she was 24 and he was 40. The Prince showed off his new girl at a Gala in Martha’s Vineyard in August of 2000 with Bill and Hillary Clinton. To put it in to perspective Vice President Gore had just announced Sen. Joseph Lieberman as his running mate at the time.
The two were inseparable in the summer of 2000 becoming a fixture in London’s nightlife and social scene. Even Fergie loved Caroline, but the press was too much for the Prince and the two went their separate ways later in 2000.
Soon after in late late 2000 she began secretly dating 40-year-old actor Hugh Grant. The two tried desperately to hide their relationship but it didn’t work. Incidentally Caroline’s parents had more money than Grant’s.
BTW, Her mother Elizabeth is part of the landed Vestey family and old friend to Sue Ferguson, so maybe this is how Caroline met Andrew.
She then began dating multi-millionaire footballer Ryan Giggs (then 29) WHILE he was dating his girlfriend Stacey Cooke in 2002 but Stacey got pregnant and Giggs dumped Caroline.
Ultimately Caroline landed her husband and baby daddy Turkish financier Cem Habib whom she married in 2004 at the age of 28. The two live in a four-bedroom house in Holland Park in Wentworth Surrey with their twin sons Aaron and Zac, 4 and daughter Yasmine, 8.
