Jade Roper’s $88,000 engagement ring doesn’t belong to her

Jade Roper’s $88,000 2k engagement ring doesn’t even belong to her ….

Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert were the most surprising couple to emerge from season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise and the only couple to get engaged. Of course everyone is always curious about the engagement ring — as in all the details — value — who owns it? — who designed it?, karats, etc.

So Jade got a pretty nice piece of bling considering her stint on BiP with fiance Tanner Tolbert, 28 was pretty undramatic. In fact her and Tanner barely got a minute of air-time the entire 6 week season.

The ring is worth $88,000. It’s a two-carat stone with an emerald-cut diamond surrounded by 12 smaller round diamonds.

It of course comes from Bachelor ring designer Neil Lane AND ABC owns it!! That’s right…the two lovebirds do not own their engagement ring according to TMZ.

If the cute couple stays together for two years they can keep the ring, but if they break up they have to give it back. Talk about pressure!

“ABC owns it for two years, and after that, if we’re still together, we keep it. Or until we get married.”

Jade Roper, 28 made waves on Chris Soules season of The Bachelor when it came out that she posed nude for Playboy.

Jade and Tanner were engaged on June 24th at the Playa Escondida Resort in Sayulita Mexico.
