Eden Sassoon really doesn’t need an introduction. Her last name really says it all. She is the daughter of Hair styling 80s icon Vidal Sassoon whose kitschy slogan, ‘If you don’t look good, we don’t look good’ became an 80’s mega-meme. Yes flashback to an era when hair had geometrical shapes and hair products were overused, over-priced and uber-fetishized. In the 80’s hair took enormous amounts of time and product to sculpt and Vidal Sassoon was on the ‘cutting’ edge of hair dynamism.
Anyhoo, the 42-year-old heiress has joined the cast and like her co-stars she comes with quite an interesting back-story and bio.
Yes despite being heir to a 100 million dollar fortune Eden likes to work. She doesn’t just sit around living off of daddy’s dough. Eden is a business woman. She runs a luxury pilates studio and full service salon; Eden by Eden Sassoon. Amazing! You can still have your hair styled by a Sassoon!
But aside from that what are some interesting things to know about Eden.
1: So you already know who her famous father was but perhaps you don’t know that her mother was a famous actress— Beverly Adams.
Yes the Canadian born actress moved to Burbank, California as a teen, where she competed in and won beauty contests before becoming an actress.
She appeared in various guest roles on television shows in the 1960s and in several films, like How to Stuff a Wild Bikini and a recurring role in the Matt Helm movies starring Dean Martin.

2: Her older sister Catya Sassoon, was an actress in the 80’s alongside James Spader, Robert Downey, Jr. and Kyle’s sister, Kim Richards. So yes Eden has a major connection with co-star Kyle.
Sadly Catya died of a drug overdose in 2002 at age 33.
4: She has an adopted brother named David Sassoon who was dis-inherited by their father.
5: Eden was a twin. And I have to wonder if this is truly where her pain began. Her mother was pregnant with twins when she had Eden but the other one died.
6: She has quite a few tattoos. One that says ‘truth’. The one above appears to say ‘Love story’.
A new one that says “perfectly imperfect”.
7: She’s a bit of a cougar. She dated 28-year-old actor Jesse McCartney.
8: She has 2 kids Olivia, 11, and Tyler, 10 with ex husband Tomer DeVito, 41, whom she divorced in 2008.
4: She lived in Frank Stallone’s house in Bel-Air as a child.
