Ok so this story just made me laugh. Lace Morris and Grant Kemp recently broke up in November right after getting matching tattoos and moving in together. The couple got engaged on the third-season finale of Bachelor in Paradise in Summer 2016.
Now to say there were red flags with Grant would be the understatement of the century. Prior to meeting Lace, Grant was very seriously dating another girl, Jen Green, whom he forgot to break up with prior to going on The Bachelorette. Prior to being with Jen he was engaged to another girl and met Jen while he was engaged to said girl. So Grant is a serial fiancee. He is the run away groom. He loves getting engaged but hates being in a committed relationship. So learning that Lace Morris was shocked at how fast Grant Kemp “moved on” made me laugh.
“So I’m finally now just starting to go on dates and talk to men, and it feels good. It feels refreshing,” Morris told Us Weekly. “And Grant seemed to move on a little bit quicker than I expected him to after our breakup, so I was a little shocked by that. But I took my time for myself, and I am healthy.”
Really? Do you not have internet access? Have you ever googled Grant?
Apparently Kemp was spotted on a date a woman named Olga Safari in mid-December a month after their breakup. The couple was spotted by TMZ outside of a nightclub and said they met while shooting a modeling campaign.
“Life is getting a lot better,” Morris said. “I’m just looking forward to this year being so much better, and it took me a while to deal with the breakup. I did my own thing for a while. It hurt. So I’m just doing so much better, and it feels really good.”
When the two broke up they could not point to anything specific about why the relationship ended and it seemed like they both still had strong feelings for each other.
“Grant and I just both realized some differences, and we had enough respect to end it when we did instead of pulling it along longer than we needed to. But it just wasn’t working. It just wasn’t working,” she said.
Morris has recently started using Bumble.
“I just now [returned to the dating scene] after what — it’s been two months since the breakup?”
Lace is not speaking with her ex and told Entertainment Tonight there is no chance for a reconciliation.
“There is definitely not a chance for us to get back together after this. He seems to be in a really good place now. He’s doing his thing, I’m doing my thing,” Morris said.
“Since the breakup, I’ve seen things that I didn’t really care for, that I would never want to go through again. It’s almost like a death, you know?”
Count your blessings Lace! You just dodged a bullet.
