26-year-old Bachelorette contestant Dean Unglert will star on the upcoming season of the Bachelorette airing Monday, May 22nd, and will likely make it through a few rose ceremonies. We unearthed some interesting nuggets about the young lothario.
1: Dean is originally from Aspen, Colorado, but he presently lives in Los Angeles, California. Not only does he live in LA, but he has some familiar neighbors.
Dean now lives next to fellow-shutter-flies Jef Holm, Robby Hayes and Chase McNary who all recently moved in together in Venice Beach. Perhaps Dean is also planning to turn his Bachelor Nation fame into a full-time job.

2: He does have a college education which I’m sure will be paramount to Rachel Lindsay.
Dean graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs.
He also went to Basalt High School where he played football and basketball.
3: He has an ex girlfriend named Kelly Balen, 25, from Irvine, California.

5: He has an arrest record.
Dean was arrested in 2010 for underage drinking on Dec. 22, at 2:51 a.m. – Officers responded to reports of a possible missing juvenile. Dean wasn’t “missing” he was intoxicated and arrested at the age of 19, and taken to Pitkin County Jail, where he was charged with underage possession of alcohol. And from the looks of it Dean still likes to throw down a few beers.
6: But don’t be too hard on Dean. He has had some rough times. Just 4 years earlier in October of 2006 his beloved mother Debra Unglert passed away of breast cancer.
