Kerry Cassidy is the 27-year-old saucy socialite from Northern Westchester, NY, who stars on Bravo’s new dating reality show called The Singles Project. Viewers were shocked to see the cheeky, bourgeois, blonde Art Consultant fall for long-haired, Bohemian, Brooklyn artist 25-year-old Tripp Barnes in the end.
I think we all (and by all I include her mother Jane Cassidy) thought she would fall for some NYC investment banker or Jewish Doctor, but nope she fell for the free-spirit self employed artist! To be fair, we really don’t know how much money Tripp has. He had a pretty swanky Brooklyn loft which bodes well for his financial situation. And his ‘trip’ home to South Carolina with Kerry revealed that his family is pretty well off–so Tripp may be a trust-fund kid or he may have made bank with his painting—who knows. But it’s not like Kerry is dating someone who is half-way homeless.
And he is actually a pretty successful artist working on films like “The Dark Knight” and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” and coining the term ‘PopNeoism’ with his partner Steven Swancoat.

Anyhoo, I know the show only finished taping a week ago but Kerry and Tripp were awfully cute in the finale. The two were clearly falling for each other much to the dismay of Kerry’s mom Jane. So of course we are all curious about updates! Are they together?
Not surprisingly YES, they are, but Kerry posted a funny pic on Instagram which may well be a joke but who knows proclaiming:

Suggesting that the two got engaged yesterday. I suspect it’s a joke but still not official response.
