‘Married at First Sight’ Season 2 just premiered with a shocking cliff hanger. The other two couples seem like they have potential, but the final couple, Jaclyn Methuen and Ryan Ranellone are a situation!
Long Island real estate agent Ryan Ranellone, 28, is thrilled with his stunning chosen partner 30-year-old Jaclyn Methuen, vodka brand sales representative, but Jaclyn is not in to Ryan AT ALL! Of course the audience is still feeling optimistic since Jamie Otis eventually fell in love with Doug Hehner but I am not so sure this situation will work out as smoothly.
When Ryan sees Jaclyn he says:
“Jaclyn walks in the room [and] I am a happy camper,” …… “I see what I like — dark hair, dark eyes, kind of a Mediterranean look. So right off the bat, I’m attracted to her.”
Cut to Jaclyn who says:
“I first see Ryan, my gut just says, ‘Oh man, like this is him?”
“His accent is really annoying.”
“The initial physical attraction really isn’t there right now” and “when I saw him face to face I felt a little disappointed. It just doesn’t feel like this is the man who is my husband. I don’t know if I can do this.”
The show ends with Jaclyn looking down when asked if she will marry him. It looks like there is a good chance this couple may not even make it past the altar.
Earlier in the episode Jaclyn admitted that she hadn’t had sex in two years because she needs to be attached to the people before sexual intimacy. “If I’m not that into you, I’m not letting you into me, really” . So I think it goes without saying that if Jaclyn does say yes there will be no sex on this honeymoon.
Ryan R. is a loyalist. You can tell he is solid and genuine with people especially because of how loving he is with his niece and his family–which Jaclyn has yet to discover. Jaclyn “is far more outgoing and assertive than he is,” Dr. Levkoff claims. “But he does talk about really wanting and enjoying assertive women. He wants someone who is going to bust his chops and she will do that.” Well I don’t think that will be a problem! The question is will she bust right out of there and bail on this experiment before she gets to know Ryan? I guess we will have to wait until next week to find out!
So my guess is that if Jaclyn does bail the show will have a #2 girl for Ryan. They must have a contingency plan in place for this sort of situation.

Either these couples make alot of money being on this show or they just like the fanfare because, they are hardly good matches and I can’t understand how they lasted 3 weeks without one or more of the couples calling it quits. Each of the couples surely have serious problems and were matched poorly.Jacklyn and Ryan were the best until he became too homesick, thought he was ready for marriage,Wrong. Jessica and Ryan fight all the time,she says she likes to cook, they eat the same leftovers nonstop while she cries instead of having a conversation and Ryan is a bully and walks out on her instead of romancing her.
Sean and Devina aren’t right for each other at all, she’s all for herself and he made a commitment selling his lovely home to move to her city which he doesn’t like at all and living in a walk up apartment, he’s not happy at all. they were overly affectionate on their wedding day and
that stopped when they went on their honeymoon.Very poor matches. This reality show won’t last long.
