Marissa Hermer, the 33-year-old socialite and star of Ladies of London, has one of the most fascinating husbands on the hit show. Her husband is self-made millionaire and nightclub proprietor Matt Hermer, 44.
He is most famous for creating the world-renowned South Kensington nightclub, Boujis which opened in 2002, where the likes of Princes William and Harry along with a slew of A-list celebrities like Denzel Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio and Owen Wilson kick back and throw down.
The club was also the place that Mickey Rourke famously walked off with a Ukrainian model in front of her boyfriend, and UK Singer Charlotte Church had her first legal drink.
Matt told theEveningStandardUK,
‘We had royalty coming in for about 18 months before the press caught on,’ he says, ‘but now we’re constantly written about.’ The result is that everybody who’s anybody, or who wants to be considered somebody, makes it their business to stop off at Boujis, if only for the photo ops.

But success was in Matt’s blood. He is the youngest of four children, brought up in Cardiff, UK, a port city on the south coast of Wales. His father Julius Hermer was a lawyer and a local politician, and his mother Gloria had a jewellery shop.
He has two brothers and a sister–all successful and ambitious. One brother is an attorney, the other is a banker, and his sister Deborah is a civil servant previously worked with Alastair Campbell at Number 10 and is now works as head of communications at the Department for International Development.
Matt followed a slightly less conventional path, but no less successful than his siblings.
He met wife Marissa in New York while she was doing branding for luxury restaurants and nightclub and married her in 2010.
Matt is the founder and MD of Ignite Group where Marisa now works as special projects director. The Group owns Boujis and the Bumpkin restaurant chain.
He also took his entrepreneurial talents and Midas touch overseas and opened Eclipse bar on the rooftop of Barcelona’s new 475-room W Hotel.
The couple has a reported Net Worth of £25 million. Not bad!
