Vanderpump Rules stars Scheana Marie and Michael Shay tied the knot on Sunday, July 27th of last year. But there have been a lot of rumors that the two are not living ‘happily ever after’.
And tonight on episode 3 Scheana revealed that they are in fact having marital problems.
“The truth is everything isn’t great. It’s not perfect,” Scheana confesses to boss Lisa Vanderpump. “And I keep trying to act like everything’s okay. It’ll get better. I just keep telling myself, ‘It’ll be okay, and it’ll get better.’ ”
Marie claims the problems began around the Holidays. “It all just started kind of around like Christmas time. I noticed, just a few months in, I noticed his drinking increased a lot – just more than drinking.”
But not just drinking Scheana adds that Shay started to mix alcohol with prescription drugs taking as many as five pills a day.
“You know it’s like, ‘Oh my knee’s hurting so I’m going to take a Vicodin, but then I’m going to have a couple of glasses of wine.’ ”
Mike moves out for a time leaving Scheana in a panic about their future together.
