What religion is Chris Harrison?

So Bachelor in Paradise contestants Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert just announced that they will be getting married on Valentines Day 2016 and the Bachelor Host Chris Harrison will officiate the wedding.

It’s no secret that we started this site based on our love of Chris Harrison and his professionalism in handling all kinds of serious situations. So we pride ourselves on finding everything we can freakishly find about the famous host.

And one very important nugget of intel to know about host and situation-handler Chris Harrison is religion. What are Chris Harrison’s religious beliefs?

Interestingly 43-year-old Harrison’s mother’s side of the family is Jewish. When he was married to ex wife Gwen the two were practicing Episcopalians, but his kids were brought up well aware of their Jewish heritage and were brought up celebrating the Jewish holidays.

And of course Chris is an ordained minister. He decided to become a minister while filming a spin-off, The Bachelorette, in Prague early in 2012. He officiated the weddings of Cassie Lambert and Pete Scallettar and Ahley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum.

Reverend Harrison is ordained with The Universal Life Church Monastery. I guess he is just covering all of his bases that way.

  1. Do not remove Chris Harrison from the Bachelor franchise because of comments he made out of ignorance. A case of speaking too quickly, not considering the impact his words might have, but not being malicious or racist.
