10 Things to know about Bachelor in Paradise contestant Nick Viall
Nick Viall has made a full-time career out of starring on the Bachelorette and or Bachelor franchise spin-offs. After coming in second place twice on The Bachelorette he is back to star on Bachelor in Paradise this summer.
Yes he was the runner-up on Andi Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette to foe Josh Murray (who is also starring on BiP). He was also runner-up on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette (along with Jared Haibon).
There is never any shortage of drama when Nick Viall is around so I don’t expect this season of BiP to be any less dramatic.
With that said here are 10 things you may not know about the professional suitor.
1: He is the second oldest of 11 children! They needed to start early. Nick’s mom Mary Viall, 56 was only 22 and his his father Christopher Viall, 58 dad was 24 when Nick was born and a year younger when his oldest sister Jessica was born.

2: He has 6 sisters and 4 brothers—his closest brother is 7 years younger. The five sisters are: Jessica Viall, 35 (now Jessica Munro), Sarah Viall, 28, Teressa Viall, Maria Therese Viall, Olivia Viall, 14, Bella Viall and the 4 brothers are Luke Viall, James Viall, Samuel Viall and Peter Viall.
3: He’s a Virgo. Nick was born September 29th, 1980
4: His mother Mary is a home Decorator and his father Christopher works for Works for Ries Graphics Ltd.
5: Nick lives in Chicago now but he is from a suburb of Milwaukee in Wisconsin, Waukesha population of 70,718.
6: No he is not Mormon, but his family is religious and Catholic–sort of. In fact his parents met in church. I wonder how they felt about Nick’s impromptu sexy time with Kaitlyn!
The family doesn’t appear to be that hardcore or Judge Judgerton about their religion though. Despite being self-proclaimed Conservatives, they are very supportive of gay rights. In fact it appears that Nick’s brother is gay and very out of the closet.
7. He’s been engaged. Yep, prior to making a full time job out of dating on national television Nick did have a fiancee.
8. He’s very tall. 6′-2″
9. He’s athletic. Nick was a big track and field star at Waukesha North High School in the 90’s.
10. He is pursuing the same girl as Josh Murray on BiP!!! Yes, history does repeat itself. On season 3 of BiP Josh and Nick come to blows once again over the same girl…this time single mom Amanda Stanton.
