I teased the fact that I am 98% sure Sean Lowe is the next Bachelor on Twitter yesterday, but was too tired to jam this post out last night. So, here you go. In this post you will find all of the evidence I’ve gathered to form my “Sean Lowe next Bachelor” opinion.
First of all, I should mention that we here at Ok! Here is the Situation were Team Arie. Even the results of our totally unbiased readers poll screamed Team Arie. But, alas, Arie Luyendyk, Jr. published an official statement late last week declaring that he would NOT be the next Bachelor, and that he was instead going to focus on his Indy racing career.
Now, the 3 1/2 names for “next Bachelor” that have been circulating are Arie Luyendyk, Jr., Roberto Martinez, Sean Lowe and Ryan Lochte (he gets the 1/2, because I really, really, really don’t think ABC would ever be serious about choosing the Olympic swimmer as the lead). So, with Ryan Lochte (in our opinion) out of contention and with Arie Luyendyk, Jr. out of contention (per his statement), that leaves us with Roberto Martinez and Sean Lowe.
And then, earlier this week, Ryan Seacrest, on his radio show, declared that Roberto Martinez will NOT be the next Bachelor, and that it’s between Arie, Sean and an unknown mystery man that would be new to the franchise. What’s weird about this radio clip, though, is that it was released AFTER Arie told the world he would not be the next Bachelor! So, by process of elimination, with Roberto now apparently out of the mix, that means the next Bachelor is bound to be either Sean Lowe or some mystery man.
Then, on Wednesday of this week, I tuned in to Bachelor Nation’s Natalie Getz’s webcast Gossip With Getz, which featured guest Jeremy Cade Anderson (from DeAnna Pappas’ season of The Bachelorette). Jeremy revealed on the show that he, as a fellow Texan, hangs out quite a bit with Sean Lowe. And when pressed about whether or not he knew anything about Sean being the next Bachelor, he of course couldn’t answer because of ABC’s various non-disclosure agreements, but, reading between the lines of what he said and what he didn’t say, I got a really strong spidey sense that he knew Sean Lowe was going to be the next Bachelor, but just couldn’t say anything.
So, there you have it folks. I may be wrong, but all of the evidence I’ve collected really truly seems to stack up in Sean Lowe’s favor. Now, we just need ABC to make the official announcement so I can move my “98% sure” to “100% sure”!!
