FINALLY, the wait is over! We have been waiting 2 long years for Canada to announce who their next Bachelor will be — long enough that the first couple Brad and Bianka has already had time to split.
But alas, we now know who will lead season 2 of the hit show. Handsome, hazel-eyed Toronto entrepreneur, 28-year-old Tim Warmels is the official star of the second season of The Bachelor Canada, due to air this fall on City.
And thankfully, production on the 10-episode season is currently underway.
Tim was raised in Campbellville, Ont by his parents who’ve have been married more than 30 years. He is described as a “down-to-earth, all-Canadian guy who isn’t afraid to roll up his shirt sleeves and get his hands dirty.”
He graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and then moved to Toronto to work on Bay Street. He just posted this on his Twitter account!
CityTV says Warmels is “as handy with a horse as he is with a hockey stick.”
The young 6 foot tall entrepreneur is also working on a number of tech ventures and a contracting business.
Warmels said Thursday in a statement that he wants a woman who:
“is happy in her own skin, driven, ambitious, and wants just as much out of life as he does — someone he can call his best friend.”
“Season one paved the way for Canadian bachelors to come forward and embrace this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find love and I’m honoured to have been chosen,” Warmels said Thursday in a statement.
“My parents have shown me what unconditional love truly means and I am ready to find the one person with whom I can share that. I have so much respect for the 25 amazing women who are putting it all on the line to go on this journey with me and I can’t wait to meet them.”
We only know the identity of ONE of the 25 women — 26-year-old gymnastics coach Raelee Fedyna of Calgary.
