The Bachelor Canada season 2 premiered Thursday night with new Bachelor Tim Warmels, and the ladies LOVED him! And now fans are scrambling to learn more about his background.
We know he comes from a very tight-knit family, but who is his family?
Tim was born to father Peter Warmels and mother Margaret Warmels (originally Pommer) on March 28, 1986 in the small countryside town of Campbellville, ON (which is just north of Buffalo NY and just east of Michigan), where he was raised. There he worked on horse ranches in the summer and played hockey five days a week. Margaret is a school teacher and Peter is a businessman. The two have been happily married for more than 30 years.
Tim has an older brother Jacob who is Manager of Information Technology for the non-profit Youthdale Foundation in Toronto and was married in November of 2012.
His grandfather Ken Pommer on his mother’s side was a long-time member of the London Police Force and served as a Detective-Sergeant for many years and as a police liaison to the Royal Canadian Regiment at Wolsley.
Tim moved to Toronto after graduating from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and worked on Bay Street before launching his own tech company. Warmels now has a number of successful tech ventures and his own boutique contracting business.
As far as whether or not Tim found love? He has been very tight-lipped. All we know is that he is VERY happy!
