So I have to confess that I haven’t been following Kesha (or excuse me Ke$ha) like the rest of the world, but I caught her documentary the other night My Beautiful Crazy Life on MTV and was glued to my seat, mostly because I was mesmerized by her frenzied search for a bearded lover.
Ke$ha talks incessantly about getting laid in the documentary (filmed BY her brother BTW) even sending her mom on a mission to round up a guy she spotted. Needless-to-say that effort was a bust.
So as she is on her way to Beirut she tells her brother that she really needs to find a bearded lover because she is “horny”–this is quite an overshare.
After Ke$ha returns to the States to kick off the American leg of her tour, in Los Angeles she sees a hot guy with a serious beard working on her stage as a roadie. The two start hanging out and quickly the relationship gets physical.
Ke$ha’s proclaims: “I’m real excited. I’m pretty sure we’re getting married,” after receiving her first text from him–BTW the flirtatious text said “Sup”. Then we just see images of the two at a the bar, snuggling. She then goes in for the kiss (this girl is not shy)– Cut to Ke$ha leaping from her bedroom on the tour bus proclaiming, “I got laid!” — to filmaker brother.
Then my fav part is Ke$ha telling the make-up artists that after sex, he asked her if she wanted to spoon and if she could be the big spoon. She seems horrified at this request, but really Ke$ha has gotta know that she is gonna attract a guy that enjoys being dominated and being a bottom and that includes spooning. So I’m not sure why she is so shocked.
But then we see a montage of the two hangin’ and getting pretty close during rest of the tour and she names him her “tour boyfriend.” And Ke$ha nicknames him Baby Spoon. So I’m hoping he isn’t getting too serious because this girl looks like a serious situation! But I am also looking forward to seeing the romance brew between these two.
So when Does KeSha My Beautiful Crazy Life air? It airs Tuesdays at 11pm on MTV. It premiered on April 23, 2013.
The series follows Ke$ha during her Get $leazy Tour. Filmed by her journalist brother Lagan Sebert, and filmmaker Steven Greenstreet.
