Reality Steve has been insisting for months that the part of The Bachelor 2015 has been cast and its Chris Soules, but another source is claiming there is another name in the running, Bachelorette cast-off Arie Luyendyk Jr..
Radar Online claims that Arie Luyendyk Jr. is talking with producers about possibly being The Bachelor 2015. I’m not entirely sure what to make of this rumor since I think Arie’s 15 minutes are now up. We were big Arie fans during Emily’s season, but I can’t imagine he would be as a big of a draw as Chris Soules.
That said I think there is one big problem with Hot Farmer and that is he is a farmer! Whomever wins would have to relocate to Iowa to live on a giant grain farm and the inevitable happy ending in that story leaves a bit to be desired.
That farm is BIG! And its acres and acres of amber waves of grain and that’s about it. I know the ladies LOVES Chris, but the fantasy may be much better than the reality. The winner would have to be really self-entertained because I can’t imagine there is a lot going on there.
ABC producers may be a bit concerned about Soules arrest record too. But I’d say that’s small compared to the farm sitch.
But now Reality Steve has conceded in a tweet that he has heard the rumors regarding Luyendyk and “From what I hear it’s down to those 2 & they’re still deciding.”
Radar Online claims that producers are flying Chris Soules out to Los Angeles this weekend to meet with them, but that producers have already begun filming Luyendyk (although that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. I suspect they begin filming all the top contenders to test them on camera). The source also claims that Arie has hired a personal trainer to work with him.
