On Bravo’s Southern Charm season 2 premiere tonight we see that Senate candidate and multi-millionaire Thomas Ravenel, 52 is still together with his girlfriend and mother of his child Kathryn Dennis, but not for long.
The two have officially broken up via Facebook after Kathryn continued to film the TV series on Jekyll Island and refused to clear T-Rav’s name.
Thomas claims the break-up is the result of the twenty nine year age difference between the two. But controversy and rumors began circulating about the relationship after a photograph of Ravenel kissing a mystery woman at a club emerges on social media.
In an interview with Daily Mail Online Ravenel contends that the photograph was taken after he and Dennis had broken up.
‘I might be a lot of things, but I am not a cheater.
‘I did not cheat on Kathryn with another woman. And she has not cheated on me. When that photograph was taken I was no longer with Kathryn.’
‘We had gone out separate ways. We were no longer a couple.’
‘I do not know if she has seen any other person but she would be perfectly entitled to. What she gets up to his her own business.’
‘Kathryn is the craziest but also the sanest person I have ever met.’
The two have a two month old daughter named Kensington.
Some of Dennis’ family members are happy about the break-up.
‘To me he is a jerk and I’m glad to see the back of him,’ said one family member.
‘There are many in the family who have never like him and are not sorry they have split up.’
Kathryn could not comment due to her contact Bravo.
