When she said her mom turned 70 i was shocked i thought she was 70 unless her mommy has a secret and had her at maybe 10. No way shes 51 or 50 anything if so she needs a new plastic surg. I googled Karen to find out her age – I am 51 and was very shocked to discover she is 52?!? Really? She is miserable, authoritarian and looks much, much older than she actually is. It just goes to show than money can’t buy you everything ! Get a British character on the show to exemplify true class !

I can’t put into words what I really want to say about Karen. I am 46. And I thought she was old enough to be my mother. I asked my 73 year old mom— how old does this woman looks on tv referring to Karen? When my mom said 40 ish. I said no way.
Her attitude is repulsive. And I only hope Ashley will see her for who she really is and leave her be. Ashley is a so much better woman than me. I admire her. Because there is no way on God’s green earth I would go around Karen. Karen is a stuck up thing— who needs someone to put her ass in check. Charisse is another Karen– A BITCH! I like Gizelle but she needs to chill too. Ashley tries too hard. Katie is a wanna be. But I do like Katie… Robyn is down to earth. Karen needs to bring her shit to the right one, then the show will be on.
I totally agree with you! That woman is well into her 60’s. I also think she should sue the doctor that did her rhinoplasty, it’s hideous.I much prefer Charise. I think she has a lot of emotional trauma and she shuts down a lot, but she’s a good person. Karen is a snake. Oh, I can only hope Karen runs into the right one!

What the heck is up with Karen!!!! I know beauty is skin deep, but I assume she’s mixing acting with reality on the show, cause if not, someone needs to hand her a mirror. She reminds me of a 65 year old lady who is trying to look and act younger. Her attitude to hierarchy is laughable. Someone should remind her that Jesus doesn’t have no time for that authority. I totally agree. Someone needs to hand that woman a mirror. She looks at least 15 years older than she says she is. She must’be lived a tough childhood.

Karen has natural beauty. However, long hair is hiding her pretty face. Perhaps a much shorter wig or weave would be ideal to show off her high cheeks and fantastic eyes. Go for it Karen, and go a little bit lighter (hair)!! You will feel very free.

Just like you I looked up Karen’s age. She is an old fogey, not a “grand-dame” as she and others fool themselves. Were I Karen with that amt of money – I would get that beak fixed pronto. Who is her 1st child’s baby daddy. He is 27 and she has only been married to her husband 19 yrs? I find her and her airs silly and ridiculous. I dont care WHO she hosts and how much money she has in the Potomac, in today’s world with all the stresses and strains that ordinary true-to-life black folks go through, I find her behavior silly, pretentious and almost ugly and nothing to emulate. At 51 (and looking much older), most folks of any real substance realize that alllll we have is a gift from God. In the end, our only value is what we do with the time, talent and treasure with which we were blessed – NOT what the WHITE world and the RICH world think of us. I am sure she does her little “charity” events but I still feel – Shame on Karen. Not a good role model. I would not follow the lead she has assumed. I like Ashley. She is young and open and hopefully once reined in a little, will be a delightful, rather than a boring crazy pretentious old woman like Karen. Great question. I think we can safely assume that Mr. Black Bill Gates is not the father of her 27yr old son. She would have been 25 when she had him but she wasn’t married to Black Bill Gates until she was 33yrs old.
