The Real Housewives of New York City got pretty ‘real’ last night with a big smack down between Bethenny Frankel and Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend 52-year-old John Mahdessian.
John seemed pretty benign on his first season of the show…kind of flashy, kind of sweaty, a little Sopranos, maybe even a bit of a hustler, but harmless. This season his jovial, freshly steam-cleaned facade comes crashing down on an episode titled “the Biggest Boob.”
Of course the title is a dig at John. Girlfriend/chubby chaser Dorinda Medley, 52 throws a lingerie party and creepy John arrives unannounced ready to throw down with his favorite ladies.
And Bethenny Frankel does not miss a beat nor does she mince a single word saying to him, “You seem a little lit up right now.”….sub-text…’like you just did a rail of coke’ aka Bethenny has heard some rumors.
John lashes back accusing Bethenny of stealing the Skinny Cow name for her Skinny Girl company–a pretty limp come-back really, but clearly John is outraged by the public accusation that he is doing lines of cocaine.
Bethenny takes it a step further in case the first accusation was too vague….
“Want to do a couple of rails and talk about it?”…… “You want to blow some lines and talk the story through?”
So it’s pretty obvious that Bethenny knows something…enough to make a public accusation.
The accusations come after Ramona has revealed that John told her he likes to do Viagra and f@#k Dorinda all night long–I am guessing John was doing more than Viagra if you know what I mean.
Anyhow Dorinda defends him saying,
“That’s not nice, you don’t know shit about that.”
Then Bethenny says to Dorinda,
“This is the core issue you’ve been hiding.” …. “This is the issue between you two that you’ve been hiding.”
WHOAH!!!!!
Now I see why Bravo wanted Bethenny back so bad! I have to say she handled that so professionally it was unreal.
Ok, so it’s clear this is going to become a storyline…that John and possibly Dorinda are doing cocaine and hiding it.
You know it all makes sense. John is just way to ‘ready to party’ at any moment. Not to mention he has a lot of ‘connections’ if you know what I mean.
In fact let’s go back to 2011. An article in The New York Post claimed that Mahdessian had arranged for an illegal police escort for P. Diddy to a performance at West Orange’s Club 4 Sixty 6 by a convoy of on-duty New York City and New Jersey police officers from New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom for a reported $75,000.
In fact John bragged about arranging the police escort saying that he called in a few favors.
The event turned in to a nightmare for the Police Department and P. Diddy who denied the allegations. John later tried to deny the allegations, but who are you going to believe? Sounds compelling to me. And it’s this sort of ‘above the law’, flashy behavior that seems consistent with one drug in particular…coke.
So hopefully we will learn more as the season unfolds!
