Bachelor in Paradise is a success once again. The show somehow managed to coerce 30-year-old Carly Waddell to fall for 33-year-old Evan Bass.
Seriously I didn’t think there were enough mix tapes or lemon juice in the world to illicit a real romantic connection here, but touchee producers did it again.
The Nashville erectile dysfunction specialist successfully corralled the affection of Carly in a mere 3 weeks.
The couple recently sat down with E! News’ Carissa Culiner to talk all about the engagement and future plans.
“You would think that I would go out there knowing, but it shocked me, honestly,” Carly said of the proposal.
On After Paradise Carly asked pal Jade Roper to be a bridesmaid in her future wedding to Evan even though the two have yet to start planning a wedding.
“We haven’t set a date,” Evan explains. “We’re going to live some real life and see how it goes. We’re sort of anti-pressure, really. We’re just not going to put a lot of pressure on our relationship. We’re just going to move forward and have fun, and when the time is right to get married, we’ll do it.”
Well the two did admit to moving in together recently so so much for “no pressure”.Evan also said this about potential wedding plans….
“In Paradise, I told Nick that he could officiate the wedding,” …..”The other day, on Facetime, he was like, by the way I’m still officiating,” Carly adds. “I was like, all right Nick. That’s on you, buddy.”
“We’re looking forward to not being on TV for a while,” Evan says.”We’ll think about that when we think about that,” (but hopefully the two will decide prior to the premiere of season 4 of BiP).
Carly has met Evan’s three sons. “They just adore her,” Evan says.
