OK I never cover the Real Housewives of Atlanta, but since I have not found anyone pointing out how Phaedra Parks bomb threat story is not adding up I felt compelled to say something. Everyone has seen the episode now where a former client Terence Cook, best known as the rapper, Drama allegedly shows up to Phaedra’s law office and threatens to blow up the office with a grenade.
Mama Joyce claimed, “What he said from what they had written down is he was tired of being messed around,” ….. “He was looking for you and he was going to blow you the f— up. He said he was tired of being messed around and he was looking for Phaedra and he was going to blow her the f— up. That’s what’s on my cell phone. He said he had a bomb and was looking for Phaedra and was going to blow her the f— up.”…..“A real grenade. Said he was going to blow himself up and everybody in there.”
Parks later claims the whole episode is a giant misunderstanding and Drama was dropping off his mixtape, not a bomb, but I’m not buying it. Why? because if it was a giant misunderstanding Cook would not have been forced to pay a $25,000 bond, charged with making terrorist-like threats and creating a false public alarm, and ordered to stay 200 yards away from her. I mean how long would it have taken for Phaedra’s law office to tell her it was a misunderstanding? Surely that would have all been resolved within a few hours prior to the time the judge issued a restraining order.
Additionally he was ordered to wear an ankle monitor, and get a mental evaluation. So CLEARLY a threat occurred and Phaedra is covering for her former client. I also thought it was interesting that she threw her law firm under the bus claiming they were just racially profiling Cook and the threat was not real. I’m wondering how they feel about the allegations she made against them.
I love Mama Joyce and Kandi Burruss for not buying her BS.
In the episode you also see Phaedra getting security and training for any future threats.
And you see Drama’s mother coming to apologize to Parks. if Parks story was true the apology should have gone to Drama. Not to mention he would have a huge lawsuit on his hands.
In other words, I think Ms Parks is pulling the wool over our eyes because the story does not fit in to her narrative and political agenda.
