Who is Julie Montagu’s husband Luke Montagu — ‘Viscount Hinchingbrooke’?

American-born Ladies of London star Julie Montagu married in to her UK pedigree. Specifically she married Viscount Hinchingbrooke aka Luke Montagu — heir to the Earl of Sandwich.

Born Luke Timothy Charles Montagu, Viscount Hinchingbrooke December 5th 1969 to Lord Sandwich (John Edward Hollister Montagu, 11th Earl of Sandwich (born 11 April 1943) and Lady Sandwich ((Susan) Caroline Hayman born on 1 July 1968).

i287104489237152998._szw480h1280_Both parents are incredibly important political figures in the UK. His father John is a British entrepreneur, politician and nobleman.

His mother is a former business journalist and policy expert for the European Commission. She is a senior adviser for Women in Business International and sits on a number of committees promoting links with the region, including the Saudi British Society.

Luke married Julie Fisher, a yoga instructor from Chicago, Illinois, on June 11th, 2004.

The couple have three sons and a daughter: William James Hayman Montagu, born November 2nd, 2004, Nestor John Sturges Montagu born October 17th, 2006.

They live with their four children at their ancestral castle at Mapperton.

It recently came out that the Viscount suffers from severe depression.

He was first prescribed antidepressants at age 19 and suffered severe side effects and withdrawal when he tried to come off of them. As a result Luke Montagu is now co-founder of CEP, the Council for Evidence-based Psychiatry. He eventually sued Dr Collins for the rapid withdrawal from clonazepam, and was awarded a £1.35m out of court settlement, including legal fees.
