Bachelor/ette producer, Cassie Lambert, tweeted with show fans on Tuesday to try and address the situation surrounding her and Arie Luyendyk, Jr.’s relationship, which was alluded to in previews for next week’s episode.
Previews show a very disturbed Emily — angry that neither Arie nor Cassie told her about their past relationship.
Apparently there is a Bachelor/ette producer assigned to the lead of the show and that was Cassie. That appears to be why Emily commented in previews that the two had been “paling” around.
Arie has been one of the most popular contestants this season, so the scandal outraged and intrigued fans who wanted the truth. So, Cassie took to Twitter, where all real situations should be addressed, to explain herself to fans.
When asked how long she dated Arie, she replied, “not long at all. A matter of weeks and it wasn’t serious. 9 yrs ago! And yes, it’s weird to be an on camera topic!” Cassie also responded to rumors that Arie received special treatment and was even promised a certain number of episodes. Cassie stated, “I said it wasn’t true that I coached him or had him on to further his career. No shady motives.”
Our fellow Bachelor-loving blogger friend Sophienette broke the Cassie Lambert / Arie Luyendyk, Jr. situation story a few weeks ago (even though, of course, Reality Steve and Wetpaint both likely claim to be the original breakers of the EXCLUSIVE details of the story. Pfft!). Apparently, their brief relationship occurred nearly 10 years ago (which would have made Arie 20 years old), and the two remained friendly after their split. Cassie is currently engaged to another show producer, Peter Scalettar, and Arie has obviously been in other serious relationships since then.
