On The Bachelorette finale 30-year-old Vancouver dance instructor Kaitlyn Bristowe got engaged to 28-year-old Nashville Personal trainer Shawn Booth. Despite all of the sexcapades with 34-year-old runner up Nick Viall the Bachelorette handed her final rose to Shawn (thank God!).
And Shawn got down on one knee and proposed with $100,000 3.5 carat Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.
There were reports that the relationship was in serious trouble after Shawn saw Kaitlyn’s indiscretions play out on TV with Nick, but surprisingly the two are still engaged!
And they reportedly cannot keep their hands off of each other. They emerged from 10 weeks of hiding tonight to officially declare their relationship status and appeared to be doing great. They even discussed future plans on E News.
Shawn had no reservations about popping the question tonight and allegedly even had to wait in the limo for “a full hour” while Kaitlyn dumped Nick. The finale confirms that Kaitlyn’s SnapChat snafu was legit.
Will it last? Well Reality Steve does not seem to think so, but Shawn’s family sounds pretty optimistic.
