Tonight Jaclyn Swartz says “romance is a possibility because romance has happened already” in regards to her date to Dodger’s stadium with Ed Swiderski. The girl is clearly crushing hard on Ed Swiderski. And I gotta admit Jaclyn is one of those girls that grows on you. I know some bloggers have said some not so nice things about her looks — like Knox McCoy calling her “no checked bags” on Ben’s season. But Jaclyn is one of those girls that gets hotter as time goes on and I can see why Ed has a bit of a crush on her.
She’s got a great personality. She looks like she’d be super fun to party with and we love her biting remarks and no-nonsense approach in the house. And the girl has confidence. Let’s face it: she’s hot.
And after her recent tweet (“I Will Be In Ed Swiderski’s Life For A Long Time”) we wanna know… are these two an item?!! Luckily People answered some questions for us…
They, of course, inquired about the dramatic, drunken hook-up…
“Yet you hooked up with Ed. Loudly.
Ed’s noises are pretty epic. I don’t recall hearing those that night but [because we were drunk] I might not have remembered that. I saw that [on TV] and could not stop laughing. So far it’s just like us having some casual fun. We were just partners in the game. We were so normal and cool afterwards. And we live in the same house so you can’t really escape the person. He makes jokes about it.”
“Were you concerned that it would ruin your partnership?
I was thinking about every move at all times and at this point, we worked really well as partners. If I [thought] that would jeopardize something, I wouldn’t have gone there. I don’t think he would have either. It’s not like him and Sarah hooking up. That’s a different situation.”
And then of course the question we need to know: Did Ed’s hook-up with Sarah Newlon bother easy-going Jaclyn?
“Did that ‘situation’ bother you?
It’s tough to see your partner hook up with somebody else because at this point in the game, we don’t know if that’s going to be your partner to the end. You want your partner to be someone you want to go on dates with. But if your partner is hooking up, you’re not going to take them on dates if you win and that’s a problem. Ed and I talked after [that], and I was pretty clear that wasn’t happening again. I was bummed that Sarah made comments about me. I never once badmouthed her, and we spoke after [her hook-up and mine] and were on great terms, so [those] were a shock to hear.”
We always wanna know if a situation bothered someone, right? Isn’t that the whole purpose of watching the show? No offense ABC, but we don’t care about the challenges, we care about the situations! One difficult situation after the next being handled and this season of Bachelor Pad is NO exception! This is why the show is so amazing. There are always romantic feelings that develop a bit more organically on Bachelor Pad because there are multiple love choices, unlike The Bachelor where there is one guy or girl to crush on. It’s fun to see who couples up and the friendships and conflicts that emerge. Like who would have ever predicted the Lindzi and Kalon love connection? Or Jaclyn and Ed? Or Rachel and Michael? And who would have ever predicted Chris Bukowski would be the big catch in the house?
So as far as Jaclyn and Ed go, we know they have hung out after taping and we know they Tweet. But, are they dating now? We are thinking no, but we are going to keep an eye on this one….because it may be a developing situation!
