Wow. Going into the show, I would have never expected Ed Swiderski and Jaclyn Swartz to hook up on Bachelor Pad!
We know Ed Swiderski as the “winner” of Jillian Harris’ season of The Bachelorette. And, we know Ed as the total party dude that was a tad unfaithful when he and Jillian were living together (and engaged) in Chicago after the show. Ed was definitely a MAJOR character on Jillian’s season, which brings us to Jaclyn, who was but a mere peep of a person on Ben Flajnik’s season of The Bachelor. Other than her acting like a loon when Shawntel Newton, from Brad Womack’s second stint as the Bachelor, sauntered into a cocktail party in a brazen attempt to steal Ben’s heart (and some extra screen time), we barely know anything about Jaclyn Swartz from the show. But – since we here at Ok! Here is the Situation are professional Bachelor/ette stalkers, we did sort of fall in love with her after the show via Twitter and via her occasional (and hilarious!) blog posts for ABC.
So, when these two decided to pair up on The Pad, we were surprised. And, when they decided to hook up on The Pad, we were even MORE surprised! Especially considering Ed has since reported he had a special someone back home while he was filming. Yes – he was technically “single” when he left for the show (the two of them apparently decided Ed deserved a free hall pass while on the show). But, still……
Tonight’s big Ed-and-Jaclyn shenanigans did seem to be largely due to an over-indulgence in alcoholic beverages.
