So of course we are scrambling to learn whatever we can about Bachelor Juan Pablo, the 32 year-old Venezuelan former pro soccer player; sports and music consultant; model; millionaire and we just uncovered some interesting information on his family–also gorgeous, also talented and successful.
His dad is an architect and artist, Saul Galavis, who lives in Miami. Here is his website. — which I personally love as an architect-in-training (I am currently taking my boards).
He has a mother named NellyGuinand. She is a Personal Branding Consultant and Business Coach, Business Developer and from what I can gleen from her Twitter account it looks like she also is passionate about historic preservation of architecture! Thank you Nelly! Please help raise awareness on this issue! I LOVE you!
Ok, and as a side note I love that Nelly is following the Catholic Pope on Twitter — like every other tweet on her feed is from Pope Francis. I am guessing this means Juan Pablo is Catholic, but I can not confirm. Can we get a weigh-in from a friend or family member!?
UPDATE 3/07/2014: Juan Pablo Galavis IS Catholic and was named after Pope John Paul. It doesn’t get anymore Catholic than that.
He has a 4-year-old daughter named Camila. His ex is Telenovela actress Carla Rodriguez. Carla stars in the Miami, Florida-based Spanish language telenovela Valeria.
He has a sister named Anna. Anna is a singer who lives in Venezuela and is married to a professional soccer player.
