So if you watched the premiere of The Bachelorette on Monday May 19th you saw ex-contestant Chris Bukowski pleading with the security and ABC production crew to let him crash the show and pursue Bachelorette Andi Dorfman.
But Andi could not be persuaded by his argument and no plea deal was made. Of course the gesture was so over the top everyone was wondering if it may have been staged.
So was Chris really stalking the mansion for 7 days suitcase in hand?
NO, if you believe Chris Bukowski.
Chris spoke to TMZ telling them that the whole thing was set up by ABC.
“They made it seem like they didn’t know I was coming, but they knew.” Bukowski claims that he had wanted to join Andi’s season as a contestant but missed the deadline to apply. So producers concocted a plan to let him try and crash the party.
Sure, it’s possible that Chris B. is trying to save face here but I actually kind of believe him. I mean I know this guy has balls and loves being in front of the camera, but camping out in front of the mansion for SEVEN days and no one called the cops? No TRO?
I think it was brilliant. Bravo ABC! Bravo!
BUT, before you believe this account look at what Chris Harrison said in his weekly blog for EW :
“I’m really interested to hear everybody’s thoughts on Chris Bukowski and his surprise visit. I know some will think that we were in on it, but we really weren’t. It was a grand gesture by him to show up like that and I hated being the one to look him in the eye and tell him it wasn’t going to happen. At first I wasn’t sure if he was sincere or not, but after talking to him I could tell he was really wanting to just meet this woman. I appreciated his passion but I had to respect Andi’s decision not to let him up to the house. Part of me was secretly hoping he would make a run for it and try to get into the house — that wouldn’t have ended well, but it would have made for an interesting night. At the end of the day, I was glad he decided to exit quietly and without incident”.
Love that Chris Harrison said “without incident”. Everyone knows “situations” can easily evolve into “incidents” and I love that situation arbiter Chris H went to bat for Chris B!

Really don’t care!!! After the way Andi faked being upset about the Bachlore death!!! Wow!!! It’s sad I really liked Andi!!! The way she treated him the last night!!! I thought she had more class!! #imdone…. Plus I though this show was real !!! Why not let things play out with out staging???? It would be way better !!!
