Andi Dorfman’s journey to find love ended in the Dominican Republic last Monday July 28 with a proposal and a Neil Lane engagement ring! We all know that the show actually finished taping months ago in May so the couple has been holed up in a top secret location for months.
The 27-year-old former assistant district attorney spoke to Atlanta lifestyle mag Jezebel, about the top secret romance with fiancé Josh Murray.
“We have a safe house that we live at basically, and we’ve been on top of each other 24 hours a day.” I am guessing the safe-house may have been in her contract and may be monitored by ABC? I love that this epic journey ends in a hostage situation with the network that is banking on the relationship working. No pressure!
“We get on each other’s nerves sometimes, but it’s very realistic. It’s kind of interesting how you get thrust into it — we’re basically living together.”
Andi then says something pretty shocking…. “I think if Josh wasn’t there I would not be engaged right now — I really, truly believe that. So I can’t help but think that part of it is the show, and a lot of it is fate.” Wow! Thank God producers cast him or that would have been the biggest bummer of a finale.
When the magazine asked what she loves most about her fiance, she said, “If I had to say one thing, I think I love that he genuinely is my best friend. I call him for everything. He’s the last person I want to talk to at night, the first person I want to talk to in the morning. I just want to tell him everything. I can be whoever I want around him. I don’t have to put on all this makeup and get in a glamorous gown. He’s just my partner through it all.”
When asked about her wedding plans she claimed she wanted to keep things simple and ditch the “bling-bling” Bachelorette numbers for a “simple dress” — “I never really dreamt of my wedding growing up,” she said. “I consider myself a romantic, but I was never the girl that dreamt of a wedding.”
The she said, “This sounds so cheesy, but I just want to marry Josh, so I don’t really care about the details of the wedding.”
Awwwwwwww!!! That is what we wanna hear!!!! I can’t wait for the Spring nuptials!
