Bachelor Canada season 2 Hometown dates were epic last night!
In an unprecedented move Bachelor Tim Warmels flies to finalist Lisa Racz Hometown of Calgary, Alberta and breaks up with her the day he is supposed to meet her friends and family! OUCH!
On the previous episode we learned that Lisa had made out with a bartender in Tuscany but shockingly she was able to patch things up with Tim and he gave her a rose anyway.
But cut to the next episode and Tim has done an about-face and decided that he really can not let go of what happened. When he meets Lisa in Calgary, he sits down with her on a bench and asks “what really happened last week?” Lisa doesn’t reveal any additional details about the indiscretion and insists that she told Tim the truth, but we know that the other girls told Tim more had happened. Adding to that a preview for next week’s Women Tell All episode shows Sachelle claiming that Lisa was screaming “I just made out with that bartender so hard” in the streets of Tuscany.
And City Tv did not do Lisa any favors with the soundtrack they gave her this episode. The break-up scene seemed less like a scene from The Bachelor and more like a scene from the Horror movie “Carrie”.
Lisa gives Tim a super creepy hug and smile as if to say “mission accomplished” and Tim walks away, clearly angry. And Lisa sounds just as cold in her blog about the situation:
“Hometown date… well, that was supposed to go a lot differently than it did. My hometown date was supposed to consist of Tim and me going to my salon to meet three super important people in my world, and then make our way to my parent’s house.”
“Instead Tim decided ending things with me was how he wanted it to go. So… that’s that.
I was pretty taken back by his decision as I thought things were going really well up until that point. However my slip-up in Italy must have affected him more then he lead me to believe it did. There are quite a few un-answered questions, but I’ve just come to terms with the fact that it wasn’t meant to be. Once I let the events marinate, I was relieved to be home and around the people I love. I was also stoked that I didn’t have to be sent home via a Rose Ceremony!”
“One of the most disappointing parts is that I didn’t get to introduce him and the world to my amazing friends and family, but now that it’s all said and done, I’m happy I didn’t waste their time or my time on someone who wasn’t the one for me.”
Damn I actually was looking forward to seeing if her family and friends were as icy as her.
