On Monday night 27-year-old Architectural Engineer Clint Arlis gets a little passive aggressive with Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe and decides to “test” her……. by ignoring her! He tells his boyfriend JJ….
“I think Im kinda just gonna hang back tonight. If she wants to talk to me, we can talk…after the date we had I would think that if she cared about getting to know me anymore I would expect her to make more of effort.”
JJ disagrees with this ‘sit back and wait’ strategy and tries to persuade Clint it’s a bad idea, but Clint is stubborn and insists that if Kaitlyn is interested she will initiate with him. Kaitlyn even confronts Clint on ignoring her, but he doesn’t budge.
“I was surprised Clint held back throughout the date. He didn’t talk to me once the entire date. It was really unfortunate, especially after having such a great date with him. I’m attracted to men who know what they want and go after it. We aren’t kids anymore. I don’t need to play games. I honestly expected more from Clint.”
Well obviously the strategy does not work because Clint gets the boot. ABC implies that there is a gay romance happening between Clint and JJ but I can’t even go there because it’s so obviously a joke, but a good one I will admit.
