Married at First Sight Season 3 the “Final Decision,” airs this Tuesday, February 23rd on FYI and it is going to be dramatic! I know it will hard to beat last season where Jessica Castro accused Ryan de Nino of being a drug dealer and Ryan made death threats to Jessica prompting her to get a restraining order against him.
But this finale will be dramatic as well especially for couple David Norton, 29 and Ashley Doherty, 30 who appeared to be on the way to divorce from the moment they wed.
Recall there was no intimacy during the Honeymoon except for a few high fives and Ashley opted to spend time by herself when they came back.
So fans have been bashing Ashley for not showing any affection to David. And no doubt the “experts” are going to be equally tough on her Tuesday night.
–Which may be why Ashley refused to even attend the finale according to a show insider,
“Decision day has a twist for both Sam/Neil (emotional) and David/Ashley. The reunion show will be very different because Ashley refused to attend. Supposedly she didn’t want to face David because she knew he was going to go after her for all of the crap she has pulled. Therefore, instead of having all 3 couples interviewed together and on stage at same time, Dr. Pepper interviews David and Ashley each separately. They did not see each other. Dr. Pepper did call her out on some of this and she stormed off the set but came back. The info Olivia gave out will be found to be untrue.”
The insider also claimed that Ashley was confrontational and difficult from day one.
“At the wedding venue, there is a bathroom close to where Ashley walked down the aisle. Prior to her walking down the aisle, nobody was suppose to be there but one of the guests did. Ashley cursed what the f&$% are you doing here. (My thoughts: Doesn’t exactly go with image she portrays).”
They also contend that Ashley did not “quit” her job, but “lost” her job.
“Ashley didn’t quit her job. She lost her job because the father to the child she was sitting lost his job.”
Not surprisingly the two do get divorced.
In Ashley’s defense it does appear that David has an arrest record in Arizona where he was ordered to complete domestic violence courses. So I would reserve judgment until we get all of the facts on both sides of this situation.
