The Bachelor first aired 14 years ago in Spring of 2012. Since then the ABC franchise has gained a less than stellar reputation for finding people lasting love. But take heart. It looks like ABC is finally seeing the fruits of their “labor” because the last 2 years have seen a massive baby boom for the shows alumni.
Now granted not all of the babies are the result of ABC facilitating the relationship directly, but some are and some kind of are and the others…well look we just love love and are still happy for our Bachelor family when they find love…even if not at the hands of Chris Harrison.
First the big winners for ABC:
Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum
Season 7 Bachelorette Ashley Hebert gave her final rose to 38-year-old J.P. Rosenbaum. And on December 1st, 2012 the two were married on ABC by minister and show host Chris Harrison at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California.
And two years later on September 30th, 2014 Ashley gave birth to their baby boy, Fordham Rhys Rosenbaum.
So this one is a home-run for Bachelor producers. The couple stayed together, CBH officiated the nuptials ON ABC AND 2 years later a bouncing baby boy.
Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici
This is a big one for ABC since it was the first successful relationship to come from a Bachelor. Yes the Bachelorettes have a much better — all be it not so great– track record at finding lasting love.
So not only did these two stay together past the Holidays (that’s typically how long Bachelor couples last), they were married on ABC in January of 2014.
Unlike with JP and Ashley Chris B Harrison did not officiate the nuptials, Sean’s dad did. But this is still a massive win for ABC.
And two years after ‘consummation station’ 32-year-old Sean and 29-year-old Catherine announced that they were pregnant. Heyoooooo!!
Their baby is due in June 2016.
Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried
Season 9 Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock just announced that her and her final rose recipient Chris Siegfried are 13 weeks pregnant with their first child.
The couple met in 2013 and were married in a very private ceremony in January 2015 in Southern California.
So no wedding on ABC (but I think that wasn’t because they didn’t want to but because ABC had other things going on at the time and didn’t think the two would be as big of a draw as Sean and Catherine were :().
Anyhoo, still a big win for ABC especially considering Desiree’s number one choice walked off the show on the finale! A lot of people were worried that she would choose no one, but she chose Chris and the two have been happily together ever since.
Then the…..sort of winners for ABC:
Ashley Salter
I like to give ABC partial credit for this one. Why?
Because Ashley Salter left Bachelor in Paradise truly devastated after getting dumped by Dan Cox. So she did what every jilted Bachelor contestant does. She rebounded in to the arms of her ex boyfriend Austin Brannen. In fact she rebounded so hard she got knocked up like immediately…like the minute she landed home. So thank you ABC for fertilizing the soil for this little onion to bloom.
In April of 2016 …..about 9 months after returning home from BiP……the 25-year-old hair stylist gave birth to a son, Brooks Hartman Brannen.
Deanna Pappas & Stephen Stagliano
I think ABC deserves credit for this one. Season 6 Bachelorette Deanna Pappas did not stay with her final rose recipient Jesse Csincsak, but she did stay within the Bachelor family…sort of. She fell in love with Bachelorette contestant Stephen Stagliano.
Ok ok, Stephen was not officially on The Bachelorette, but his identical twin brother Michael Stagliano was on Jillian Harris’ season as well as multiple Bachelor Pad seasons, so close enough. I’m sure you recognize his face right?
The couple just welcomed their second child, Austin Michael, on March 2nd. They already have a 2-year-old daughter, Addison Marie.
Then there are the leading ladies…
Ali Fedotowsky
Season 4 Bachelorette and ENews! host Ali Fedotowsky did not stay together with fiancee Roberto Martinez but she did find love after The Bachelorette with fiancé Kevin Manno and the two are pregnant with a baby girl due in July 2016.
At her baby shower Ali posted a pic of her and Manno on Instagram saying:
“I love this man so much and I’m so grateful to be bringing a baby into this world with him.” 
Jillian Harris
Bachelorette Season 5 Jillian Harris gave her final rose to Ed Swiderski, but the relationship did not last long. Fortunately she did find love shortly after with long-time boyfriend Justin Pasutto in 2012. The couple learned that they were pregnant in December of 2015 due in early fall of this year.
Emily Maynard
Emily Maynard did not find lasting love with Bachelor 15 Brad ‘Don’t Poke the Bear’ Womack or with Teen Dream Jef Holm, but thankfully she did find love. 
Her and husband Tyler Johnson are expecting a baby in September 2016. The two recently had a baby boy. No word yet on the sex of their second child.
Yeah ABC had nothing to do with these last three, but it’s nice to see the former leads find love … somewhere.
