One year after their fake wedding on the season 2 Bachelor in Paradise premiere, season one’s only successful couple Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul have broken up.
Marcus told to E! News that they were,
“unfortunately no longer together.”
The two were never legally married, but they were getting ready to file the paperwork after the wedding.
“When we came back, we were supposed to start the paperwork,” the 27-year-old Canadian soccer player/sports medicine manager from Dallas Texas explained, “but she stalled.”
So it sounds like it was Lacy who got cold feet, not Marcus.
Marcus told Life & Style, that Lacy “totally vanished” and “it feels like she’s a runaway bride.”
‘I wanted to move in together but she recommended that I find my own place.’
Adding to the drama Marcus suspects that she was communicating with someone else.
During the holidays he said he found ‘flirtatious’ messages on her phone.
Then, two months ago, the two went out to dinner and after that she just disappeared.
‘She just cut off all communication.’
And Lacy’s only Twitter post on the matter simply said, ‘Less Is Always More….’
When fans asked what happened with Marcus, Lacy did not respond.
Yikes!
Marcus proposed on June 4th and the two were married about a year later by host/ordained minister Chris Harrison officiating the top-secret ceremony in front of their BiP co-stars at the Playa Escondida in Sayulita, Mexico.
So, another one bites the dust. Sigh….
