Tonight is the historic wedding ceremony of TomKat 2.0: Tom Schwartz, 33 and Katie Maloney, 30 of Vanderpump Rules. Yes for 5 seasons we have watched these two navigate through the rough waters of their relationship. And naturally the rough waters have led us here to the shores of holy matrimony.
Season 4 showcased the engagement and now season 5 is coming to a dramatic end with the wedding of Tom and Katie in front of friends, family and all of America.
So I have opined enough on the chances of this relationship making it to season 6, for now we need to know the basics.
Date & Location
The wedding occurred in real life on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at the Twenty Mile House, just outside of Lake Tahoe, California. The nuptials were officiated by boss and minister Lisa Vanderpump in front of 120 guests and family members.
The Wedding bands
The couple had matching eternity-style rose gold wedding rings designed by their friend Kyle Chan.
Tom tweeted, “Rose gold with champagne diamonds-freshness. He is the man. Thank you Kyle.”
The Wedding Dress
Katie stunned in a $15,000 Zuhair Murad long-sleeve lace design wedding dress from Kleinfeld Bridal store in N.Y.C.
Tom looked dapper in a custom emerald green tux.
The Bridal Party and Groomsmen
Katie’s bridal party included fellow cast members Kristen Doute, Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, and Brittany Cartwright.
Tom’s groomsmen included Tom Sandoval, Jax Taylor and Ariana Madix.
Noticeably absent from the affair was Lala Kent and James Kennedy.
The Honeymoon
After the big day, the couple headed to honeymoon and consummate the marriage in Bora Bora and seemed very happy about their decision to seal the deal….
“So I married my best friend and I couldn’t be happier,” Katie wrote on Twitter. “#twobubbs @twschwa and couldn’t have felt more special in my @zuhairmuradofficial gown that I got from the one and only @kleinfeldbridal.”
Yep TomKat 2.0 has made it official. Congrats Tom and Katie!
