Just because Luke Pell wasn’t chosen to be The Bachelor doesn’t mean he is not making a play for the contestants! It recently came out that Raven Gates was hoping Luke would be The Bachelor, although she appears to be genuinely falling for Nick Viall.
Yes, Luke was slighted by Bachelor producers at the last minute when they chose Nick and then suggested that Luke was not doing the show for the right reasons.
And ironically Raven was “chosen to be Luke’s Southern belle.”
Now, the 32-year-old country singer, tells Life & Style exclusively what he really thinks about the 25-year-old Hoxie hottie.
“She seems like a nice girl. I think that’s really a TV fantasy,” he said on Facebook Live. “They want to see two very similar characters be together. That’s not necessarily in real life. Sometimes, opposites attract, or sometimes people’s personalities are completely different and they’re a good match. It’s hard to say.”
“I don’t understand why people think that because she’s from a farm and I grew up on the farm that it’s like magic,” he added. “I have to meet somebody that I know the chemistry is there. Attractiveness, now, is less and less physical because that’s easy. I want a real emotional connection.”
Hmmm, I’m not sure that’s an affirmative. I think Luke is likely eager to stay in the spotlight.
The real question, in my opinion, is what did Luke do to piss producers off? If he is not asked to be on Bachelor in Paradise I will be even more curious!
In regards to the possibility, he said,
“I would have to make the decision at the time, but I don’t think so,” he explained. “It’s an interesting experience… it really derails your life. You have to really be emotionally in the right place. Right now, if it were today, I would probably turn it down.”
