How in the world can Bachelor producers expect any male contestants to propose to their amazing ladies given that a stint on The Bachelor now seems to be the gateway to dating an A-list actress?
First Bachelorette contestant, Wells Adams, started dating Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland, and now 36-year-old Bachelor alumni/professional dater, Nick Viall is hooking up with “Mad Men” actress, January Jones.
According to a source at Page Six, Jones and Viall got together after she admitted on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” that she was a “Bachelor” superfan.
Recall on the show, Jones joked with Corden about Viall, “You don’t know if you like him or if he’s a scumbag, but that’s why I’m attracted to him, maybe.”
Yikes!! Anyhow, the source says,
“They’ve been dating for about two months. She went on ‘The Late Show’ in mid-November and said Nick had reached out to her and tried to get her to lip-sync battle with him. She declined, but then he asked her out to a drink and she accepted. They’ve been seeing each other since.”
Jones was with Viall and some of her former “Mad Men” co-stars at Inkwell in LA on Saturday to celebrate her 40th birthday.
I’m not sure I’d hold my breath on the longevity of this romance. But I do think Nick will make sure to maximize his media attention, step-and-repeats, award galas, free SWAG, etc with JJ until she realizes what a shameless ‘scumbag’ he actually is.
