Meet the next, next Bachelorette!
We just got wind the Katie Thurston will lead the next season of The Bachelorette, but we also now know who will lead the next, next season of The Bachelorette.
Yes Bachelor contestant and runner-up Michelle Young, will lead season 19 of the show.
Monday March 15th on “After the Final Rose” ABC announced that 28-year-old from Minnesota will be looking for a life partner this fall.
On the show she said:
“I was a little nervous, but once I found out that it was two different seasons, I was here for it,” …. “I’m excited that I get to have somebody to bond over with this and share notes as we go.”
She added: “I really do think that this process works. When you can set down all these outside distractions and really dive in, I think you can learn a lot about somebody. I’m just excited. I’m ready to get started.”
So with no further ado, lets get to know Michelle:
The 28-year-old elementary school teacher soon to be social media influencer was born on June 3, 1993 to mother LaVonne Young and father and Ephraim Young in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
She is the oldest of 3 siblings with younger brother Alex Young and younger sister Angela Young.
One of her biggest accomplishments was being a basketball star in college. She played Division 1 basketball at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois.
And she may definitely need some of those skills from the court to help her maneuver the group dates.
In addition to excelling at sports, she also made the honor roll,

“When Michelle’s not working, she loves to spend time with friends hiking and wine tasting. She is very adventurous in life and in appetite; she says that all of her favorite restaurants are local food trucks. Michelle has big dreams for the future and says she wants a man by her side that is supportive and driven to make the world a better place.”
