‘Bachelor Pad 2’ winner finds her wedding dress

On November 10, the soon-to-be Mrs. Blake Julian tweeted: “I found my wedding dress!!! I ♡ @AlfredAngelo.” It looks like Holly Durst, who won the last season of Bachelor Pad, along with ex-fiance Michael Stagliano, is going to follow in ex-sister-in-law-to-be and former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas’ footsteps by choosing an Alfred Angelo gown. Pappas, who married the Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad’s Michael Stagliano’s twin brother, Stephen Stagliano, on October 22, 2011, looked radiant in her Alfred Angelo selection: the “Ariel” dress from the Disney Fairy Tale Weddings by Alfred Angelo bridal collection.

So, our question is: Is Alfred Angelo now the Bachelor franchise’s “Neil Lane” of wedding dresses?

BACK TRACK: New to the love pentagon that is/was Holly-Blake-Michael-Stephen-DeAnna? It’s simple, really.

First, there was DeAnna Pappas, who almost-but-not-quite found love on Brad Womack’s first stint on The Bachelor (season 11). And then there was Holly Durst, who almost-but-not-quite found love on Matt Grant’s season of The Bachelor (season 12). Then, DeAnna became the Bachelorette and almost-but-not-quite found love with the season 4 winner of The Bachelorette, Jesse Csincsak. And then, finally, we met Michael Stagliano on season 5 of The Bachelorette. He became a fan favorite on Jillian Harris’ season, where we were introduced to his twin brother, Stephen, on Michael and Jillian’s “home town date” that season. Still following us?

Later on, in the incestuous alternate reality (yes!) in which almost all former castmates of all things “Bachelor” hang out, party and hook up (amazing!), DeAnna Pappas started dating and then got engaged to Stephen Stagliano and Holly Durst started dating and got engaged to Michael Stagliano (Holly hooked up with several other alums before alighting with Michael, but we’re starting to confuse ourselves, so we’ll spare you the deets). The foursome then grew tight and were even hoping to throw a co-wedding! Awww.

But then…(duh, duh, duh) the unicorns and rainbows were injured, but not completely killed, when Holly called off her engagement to Michael after a short 6 months. Then, they started dating again (woo!) only to have Michael then call things off (ugh). But then, Michael and Holly were both cast on this past summer’s Bachelor Pad, where Michael was hoping for a third chance at love with Holly, but (uh oh) Holly fell hopelessly in love with the show’s bad boy, Blake Julian (who was only recently introduced into the Bachelor Nation fold on Ashley Hebert’s season of The Bachelorette).

Finally, in a surprise back-stabbing during the taping of the finale of The Pad, Blake proposed to Holly, Holly said, “YES,” and Holly surprised Michael (her partner, and co-winner, on the show) with the gut-wrenching news in front of a live studio audience. Awesome, Holly!

As always, stay tuned for more. We at Ok! Here is the Situation are here for you.

Luckily, throughout all of the Michael-Holly-Blake drama, DeAnna and Stephen’s love conquered the horrendous odds swirling around the Bachelor franchise’s stabs at love. And now they are happily married. At least, for now.

Do you think Blake and Holly will make it?
