On the Real Housewives of Potomac 50-year-old Charrisse Jackson Jordan conceded that her and her husband of more than 18 years NBA player-turned-coach Eddie Jordan were no longer speaking since the show has aired.
But Eddie and Charrisse had already been living far apart. Eddie was living in Montgomery to be near Rutgers where he coached the University’s men’s basketball team, while Charrisse was living in Potomac.
In fact in her Bravo bio she claimed,
“The secret to their marriage is distance: For the last three years of their marriage, they have lived apart.” ………
On the reunion Andy Cohen accuses Charrisse of being blasé about Eddie no longer speaking with her.
Charisse responds,
“I don’t think I was being blasé about discussing Eddie. There really isn’t much to discuss when it comes to Eddie. Unlike some, I don’t sensationalize or make things up. I will admit that it is hard talking about something that personal when you’re surrounded by people who really don’t care about what you’re going through. The subject is a sensitive one and I really didn’t want to become emotional at the reunion. I’ve been on a painful journey. Being on the show has brought my marriage to a dead end. We don’t really talk and when we do it’s not a good conversation. I’ve come to terms with the demise of my marriage and will be moving forward with my life.”
I suspect her and Eddie were over prior to the show beginning, but kept up the illusion of a relationship for their children….and maybe the IRS.
In her Bravo bio she also claimed,
“Her number one priority has always been and will always be her children, as she is determined to be there for them 150 percent . . . no nannies, period.”
This on the heels of the news that Eddie Jordan was fired from coaching the Rutgers University men’s basketball team last month.
By the way the fledging show has been renewed for a second season!
