Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay claims she was ‘torn until the very end’
Ok, Bachelor Nation, we officially have one Bachelorette, three men, and one week to go.
Eric Bigger, Peter Kraus and Dr. Bryan Abasolo are fighting for Rachel’s final rose. Let’s be honest. We know 29-year-old Eric is a goner which leaves Peter and Bryan. Rachel seems genuinely hot for both men. In fact, Rachel’s feelings for Peter really surfaced last week in Spain as she cried when talking to him about a possible proposal.
Peter confided that he did not feel ready to propose.
Rachel said, “I don’t think of it the same way that you do, but… it is extremely important to me and I only want to do it once, too. If we really want this and we want each other, then somebody’s got to bend.”
Rachel later told cameras, “I was hopeful for what Peter and I could be and then just like that, I didn’t see it. The best word I can describe what Peter said to me… it’s devastating.”
She would not be so ‘devastated’ if Eric left or said he was not ready to propose. So we have some evidence that Rachel has developed real feelings for Peter.
Her feelings for 37-year-old Bryan have been more transparent since every episode Bryan seems to be getting another one on one! The two have’t had any tearful conversations, but they have had serious chemistry.
In fact, I thought Bryan had it in the bag for weeks, and I thought this would be the least dramatic final rose ceremony in Bachelorette history since no one would leave broken-hearted, but now I am starting to realize that Rachel really has been torn between these two all along.
And I have accused 31-year-old Peter of not really being that in to Rachel since he has been so vocal about his feelings and concerns, but perhaps I’m wrong because Rachel claims the finale is a nail-biter and a tear-jerker of epic proportions.
“When it gets down to the finale and the final two guys, the last breakup is the most heart-wrenching of all time,” an insider told Us.
“They couldn’t say goodbye, and even when they did there were so many tears from her. After she left, he collapsed and sobbed.”
Adding that, “She was torn until the very end,”…..”It’s brutal to watch this breakup — worst breakup in years on this show.”
And apparently the decision did not get easier as the end approached. “Hometowns was so hard because I was connected to every single guy in a different way.”
“Honestly, I just wanted to quit and run away rather than proceed, but I was like, the greater the risk, the greater the reward. I know what I want and I can’t quit now.”
But despite the struggle she is very happy and sure of her decision and can’t wait to emerge from hiding with her new fiancé.
“Honestly, I just want to go on a walk, just walk down the street, hand-in-hand. There’s nothing big I want to do, I just want to be in public,” she continued. “Do simple, little things, like go grab a cup of coffee, go walk down the street, go walk my dog, Copper, at the park.”
The Bachelorette finale airs on ABC Monday, August 7th, at 8 p.m. ET.
