Twenty-seven-year-old Bachelor, Colton Underwood may be a “virgin”, but that doesn’t mean he has not had girlfriends.
Prior to courting Bachelorette Becca Kufrin, the hunky ex football player was dating Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman, 24. In fact, the couple only broke up in June of 2017 after a year of dating.
On last Tuesday’s episode of the LadyGang podcast, the former Raiders tight end told hosts Keltie Knight, Jac Vanek and Becca Tobin, Aly was his “first love,” after commenting about his first heartbreak saying:
“I wouldn’t say it was on the show,” ….. “I would say it was my first love.” “While it was confusing and hard in the beginning, it also taught me a lot about myself — what I need, what I want, what I can do better in a relationship,” …. “It was a big step for me. It was really tough.”
Underwood was introduced to Aly in August 2016 by former teammate Andrew East. East is married to fellow Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.
The two “came out” as a couple after five months in December 2016 when they made their red carpet debut together at the Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony in New York.
And sadly announced their split in June 2017 saying,
“We’re still good friends and talk, but all that travel had been a nightmare,”
In regards to the toughest part about being the Bachelor, Colton told the hosts:
“The hardest part is all the virginity talk when I know my grandma’s watching.”
