Emily Maynard gushes about Jef Holm

Last night we saw the long-awaited hometowns between Bachelorette Emily Maynard and her three final suitors (actually there were four, but Chris’ hometown in Chicago was so un-memorable we forgot to include it)– so let’s just say there were three. The Bachelorette clearly has serious chemistry with fan favorite and our favorite Jef Holm. She went to his amazing family ranch in Utah for a “Holm” town (Hey-Oooooo!) to meet his family, sans his missionary parents.

The astounding ranch begged the question: Is Jef Holm rich?

And the answer is YES! He is a millionaire with a net worth of 3 million dollars.

Here are some highlights from Emily’s People.com blog hinting at her feelings for the first unofficial Bachelorette Dreamboat. [Note: Have you seen our unofficial “Jef Holm is a Dreamboat” fan page??]:

The two sides of Jef: “I never know what to expect when I’m with Jef and of course, he surprised me once again! It’s hard to believe the same guy who knows about Chloé bags can shoot clay pigeons like it’s his job! Just like me, there are two sides to Jef and I love that we can bond over so many different things. Even though his parents weren’t there, I absolutely loved his family, especially his sweet little niece, June!

I could tell they were skeptical – just like my own family was – but hopefully after seeing the two of us together they were able to see how real it can be. They made me feel so welcome, and while talking to his sisters I felt like I was talking to my girlfriends back home. I was sad to leave them, but had no idea what Jef had planned for the second part of the day. The letter Jef wrote me was so perfect. I loved that everything he loved about me had to do with my heart and the way I make him feel, not superficial things that undoubtedly will fade.”

Apparently, it was Holm’s sister-in-law that submitted Jef’s application to the show (which is an amazing situation in itself considering the whole Mormon thing). When he got a call from the show to send in a tape, he almost wasn’t going to. He said that it was, “because I come from a really private family. I’m really private about my life. And I didn’t want to go out on a dating TV show.”

Jef is clearly falling for Emily as he professed his love to the Bachelorette in the library one-on-one in Prague, declaring: “I wanna date you so hard and marry the F&@K out of you” (one of the most articulate lines in Bachelorette history).

Hopefully the feelings are mutual because we are ready to give our final rose and it’s going to Jef Holm. He had us the minute he made the Michael Jackson marionette moonwalk in Prague.

At this rate, we’re seriously thinking Emily picks Jef and that the couple are currently (hopefully!) happily engaged so they can start making babies……yesterday.
