Ben Flajnik apologizes to contestants about Courtney Robertson

Bachelor Ben Flajnik, Courtney Robertson and Julia Flajnik

We said when Ben and Courtney announced their breakup that Ben was likely to leak some emotionally honest clues about Bachelor Diva Courtney Robertson. You can’t keep an enneagram 4 silent after a big breakup — in our early analysis of Ben Flajnik’s personality we determined he was a 4 — the Romantic (according to Don Richard Riso & Russ Hudson, two of the leading teachers and developers of the Enneagram system in the world today.)

Thus, he would certainly give us clues about what had happened in an effort to indulge his epic heartache and nurse his gaping wounds. Courtney appears to be unscathed after ending the relationship but we knew Ben would be crushed and wouldn’t keep it in for long especially with the new news that Courtney had moved on to Bachelor hotty Arie Luyendyk, Jr.

In a new interview with InTouch Magazine Ben claims he owes his amazing ladies an apology and now sees first-hand how evil ex Courtney is. He also admits he was wrong in choosing Courtney Robertson, 29, on the season finale of The Bachelor. “She’s stooping so low to get attention,” Ben told In Touch in regard to the new relationship with Bachelorette contestant Arie Luyendyk, Jr. — Ben these are the “lows” Courtney was stooping to all season, you just didn’t see them through your rose-colored glasses. He goes on to say “I should apologize to the other women on the show. I now know how they felt.”

Ouch! There it is. He is hurt, angry and blindsided by her callous and abrupt move to Arie. There is your emotional honesty.

So it makes sense that in his heartache he would be reaching out to the other girls that Courtney hurt.

“One of the biggest challenges Fours face is learning to let go of feelings from the past; they tend to nurse wounds and hold onto negative feelings about those who have hurt them.”

He sees the other ladies as allies who have all been hurt by this mean girl. Thus they can all nurse their wounds together and marinate in how awful Courtney is. Fours seek to express and disguise themselves simaltaneously thus they find ways to reveal their true feelings.

That is good news for us who want all the details about what “life with Courtney” was like off-camera.
