Bachelor Canada season 2 episode 3 recap

On episode 3 of Bachelor Canada season 2 Tim and his remaining ladies head to Cabo, San Lucas. The show begins with some B-roll footage of Bachelor Tim Warmels strolling the beach shirtless confirming that he has been freshly waxed like the American Bachelors—I’ve long suspected that removal of body hair is in their contracts.

Tim begins his tropical journey by giving the first one-on-one to 25-year-old hairstylist Lisa Racz– Yep–mean girl Lisa. I’m not shocked because sensitive, artistic Tim probably likes a girl who’s going to boss him around. And Lisa is clearly a badass because she shows some serious arm tattoos in her ITM.

So Tim takes the saucy red-head to something called ‘the death swing’. While on the death swing he asks if he can hold her hand and not surprisingly it appeared that Lisa opted to use both of her hands to hold on to the death swing until after they “swung”, aka dropped several 100 feet, but the two did share a kiss “mid swing” according to Lisa in her ITM.

Back at the Hyatt, Ziva, Trisha Vergo and Martha talk about Kaylynn’s epic breakdown the previous evening at the rose ceremony even though Kaylynn is 15 feet –I’m sorry (5 meters) away. Kaylynn is very sensitive and she is very into Tim — she even said that she stayed up all night worrying about him dating other women!

She then goes and pulls the ol’ impropmtu visit to Bachelor’s hotel room to talk to Tim about their budding relationship and the Martha–Trisha situation and then oddly apologized to Tim for her behavior. Good move. Because that was a serious red flag for Tim who I can tell actually really likes Kaylynn—so take it down a notch girl.

Back to the swinging….The two strolled across a long walking bridge to a hut where they shared some wine (where are the treats?!) and reminisced about their 3 day relationship.

Tim claims that he loves that Lisa doesn’t care if someone does not like her aka he likes a bitch (Enneagram 4’s are especially prone to this). But ironically, Lisa seemed oddly pretty nice at dinner.

The next day’s group date is painfully awkward with Martha, Sachelle, Jenny and April Borgnetta, the Victorian Vagician in their super short shorts doing some traditional Mexican dancing. Tim is dressed like a matador and clearly the team has not had sufficient time to rehearse. Luckily April was there for comic relief.

Tim chooses Sachelle because she was clearly ‘uncomfortable’ and he wanted to reward her. I don’t think she is rough enough for him. Tim likes to be bossed around I can tell.

The next date the ladies were excited to be decked out in pink and yellow bikinis displaying their spray tans and showing off their volleyball skills for Bachelor Tim, but Tim takes the job of finding a life-partner on television oh-so-seriously and realized that volleyball would not help him choose a soulmate so he opted to forgo the group volleyball date and engage in conversation instead changing the originally scheduled 6 on 1 with Dominique, Natalie and April, Rileigh, Trisha, Christine to a 12 on 1.

Natalie Elliott brags to Tim about owning a “Camaro” with a sexy glance.

We also get a glimpse of Tim’s back tattoo which we know was a tattoo to cover another tattoo…more on that later.

Front-runner April Brockman runs away because she hates competition. Luckily Tim runs after her then lets the ladies know that four of them will be going home early. Tim has seriously thrown away the rule book!

At the dramatic rose ceremony Tim boots April Borgnetta, Martha, Jenny and Christine.

Roses go to Kaylynn, Trisha, Sachelle, Natalie, Dominique, Rileigh and Lisa.
