Bachelor in Paradise delivered a serious curve ball Tuesday night when Danielle Maltby engaged in an impromptu make out session with good friend Wells Adams —- after self eliminating!
Yes Danielle had come to paradise laser focused on Dean Unglert but Dean was spoken for minutes after landing in paradise by Kristina Schulman.
As a result Danielle turned to pal and new bartender Wells to pout and sulk about her misfortune.
Ultimately her frustration led her to decide to self eliminate Tuesday night.
Pal Wells walked her out to her car and said, “If anyone deserved to find someone here, it was you.”
And then the two shared a passionate good-bye kiss and the Twitterverse went absolutely wild!
She conceded, perhaps love was right in front of her all along as she left.
We haven’t seen a gesture that dramatic since Ernesto Arguello went off script and climbed the wall of cubes on Ready for Love to reveal his final choice Shandi Finnessey prior to the scheduled finale!
What made this even cuter was that Danielle and Wells had been friends in real life for years in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Both were afraid to cross that line out of fear of jeopardizing their friendship.
So I honestly think Wells and Danielle stoled the show Tuesday night and will be the one couple that fans really do care about this season.
So are they dating now?
A source at E! News claims, they are not dating…..but,
“They are just friends at this point, but we all got so excited when we heard about the kiss. I think they will end up together eventually.”
The two have been spending time together in Nashville. The duo watched Tuesday night’s romantic episode together at a charity viewing party hosted by Danielle to benefit LWALA Community Alliance.
And then a cryptic and cute message on Instagram from Carly Waddell that said,
“We love love!!! Here’s to hoping it works out for everyone like it did for us!!!”
alongside a photo of her and Evan, Derek Peth and Taylor Nolan, and Wells and Danielle.
Later, Carly’s new husband Evan added on Twitter, “DANIELLE AND WELLS FOR EVERYTHING LOVE IS REAL AND I AM HERE FOR IT.”
I had been concerned that the kiss was coordinated by producers for ratings and that these two didn’t have real chemistry, but it sounds like the chemistry was real!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bachelor in Paradise airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
