We still don’t have an official wedding date for Chris Siegfried and Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock of Seattle, WA, but Chris is already discussing his honeymoon. I love that Chris has a tiny bit of real estate on Desiree’s blog called Chris’ corner. (I hope Chris gets more than just a corner in their real real estate, ha ha!).
So here is what Chris had to say from his “corner” about their upcoming honeymoon:
“I have so much news to share with you, but first let’s talk about the most important part about getting married…the Honeymoon! “….
“To be completely honest, Des and I have talked about this quite a bit, I just can’t remember where we want to go! I know we’ve mentioned Bora Bora, places in the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii (Des hasn’t ever been!), etc. My question to you Chris’s Corner nation is this: Why don’t we ever talk about having our honeymoon in the states? Why does it always have to be a destination outside of the 48′s? There are some beautiful places here that I have never seen and would like to go sometime. Buuuuut it is usually frowned upon when you stay local, unless it is Hawaii! I would totally go to Hawaii for my/our honeymoon. All I know is that when it comes time for the big day…the first day of the honeymoon, I am completely unplugging from reality”
Agreed there are some excellent destinations right here in the good ‘ol US of A like all of our National Parks, but Hawaii is a bit of a cliché.
He then goes on to share that he is making a big career change.
“I have some other exciting news. I am about to make a career change for the better and I want to share it with you. As of May 1st I will be working for myself as a Mortgage Consultant (Loan Officer). …… This is going to bring a whole new twist to my online presence and presence in Seattle! I am in the beginning stages of finalizing my website and will keep you posted! Exciting times everyone.”
